About this website
I attempted to make a website following the examples of layout grids in the rule of thirds in The Principles of Beautiful Web Design. Each section of this website contains a strip. Each of these strips has three columns. Wix does not allow more than five columns in a strip, nor does it allow creating a column that is two-thirds of the screen. In the editor, I used rulers to divide each strip in half, so I could create six columns. However, my rulers did not scale with the screen size. This website is thus, non-responsive. Here is a screenshot of the website in my native resolution.
I would say this website has a tricky layout. I suppose it would be the header with navigation, followed by one column, two sections with two columns each (and a one-column section that breaks between the columns), and a footer.
The photos were sourced from Unsplash. Each of them follow the rule of thirds compositionally. The colors were inspired by Portishead's album Third.

This indicates one-third...
two-thirds...
....and three-thirds of the screen
