Hi, my name is Tiffany Wu.
My pronouns are she/her.
I am taking this class in Website Design because I am interested in web design as a new field I can study and possibly work in. As someone born in 1999, I have lived on the internet for most of my life. Some of the earliest fond memories I have are playing the HTML and Flash-based web game Neopets. I also enjoy making art, mostly traditional drawing, although I wish to explore other mediums such as video and graphic design. I love asking "what's next?" I am extremely interested in new artistic movements in all sorts of media, whether it be internet aesthetics, film, music, or video games. I believe I have an artistic eye for web design and user interface. I hope to satisfy my need to be creative while working within specific guidelines to solve problems and improve functionality. Having recently graduated with a degree in sociology from UC Irvine in 2022, I also hope my background in sociology can help me research and understand how users interact with the web.
