CARI defines the "Blob World" aesthetic as circa Mid 2010s - Present, with the description "The wave of motion design and illustration that makes heavy use of strange, elaborate 3D renders to create playful textures, strange/uncanny forms, surrealist compositions, and occasionally unnerving body horror."
My favorite designers in this aesthetic are mushbuh , Jesse Kanda, and Andrew Thomas Huang.

What does aesthetic this mean for typography?
Most of these websites use a simple sans serif font to contrast against the detail of their 3D elements. Other times, text is incorporated onto the 3D elements, or are 3D elements themselves.
